Sigiriya, often called the "Lion Rock," is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic fortress located in the heart of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. Rising dramatically from the central plains, Sigiriya boasts a rich history dating back to the 5th century. The site is renowned for its ancient rock fortress, intricate frescoes, and breathtaking panoramic views from the summit.
